Change Dictionary Properties

To modify the properties for a dictionary, open the File menu and select Manage Application Files. Properties include:
Type
This property determines the dictionary type, with the following options:
  • Main
  • External
  • Working
  • Special Output (only valid for batch edit applications)
Synchronize Data as Part of Simple Synchronization
When true, the dictionary's data is synchronized as part of a Simple Synchronization routine. The default value is true for the main dictionary and false for other dictionary types.
Include Value Set Images in the Compiled Application
When true, value set images are built into the compiled application (.pen). This facilitates the deployment of an application to another computer or a mobile device. The default value is false.
