CSPro and DropBox deployment

Post by Euchou »

Hello,

I am using CSPro 8.0.1 on Windows 11 and CSEntry (latest version) on Android tablets.

I deployed my questionnaire (entry_P46) via File → Publish and Deploy → Dropbox, and everything worked fine for a while. However, for some time now, I am no longer able to associate new devices in CSEntry.

Here is what happens on the tablet:
1. CSEntry → Add Application → Dropbox
2. I am redirected to the browser and I authorize the Dropbox account
3. I am automatically redirected back to CSEntry
4. The application list is empty — nothing loads, no error message

The deployment on Dropbox is intact (entry_P46.zip and entry_P46.json are present in /CSPro/apps/). Devices that were previously associated still work fine.

I have already tried:
- Revoking and reauthorizing the Dropbox connection
- Updating CSEntry to the latest version
- Reinstalling CSEntry on the tablet

Is this a known issue with the Dropbox API? Is there a fix available?

Thank you in advance for your help.

A security update made to Dropbox in January of 2026 introduced new encryption certificates. Because Android 15 enforces the latest security protocols, the current version of CSEntry is unable to verify the connection to Dropbox servers, resulting in the error. We fixed this problem, which is available here:

https://csprousers.org/apk/csentry8.0.1-2026-01-29.apk

We are in the process of updating Google Play with this fix.

Thank you for the quick response!

I downloaded and installed the APK from the link provided and the Dropbox connection is now working again on the new devices.

Thank you to the CSPro team for the fix!
