Capi Text error

Dear Team,

How are you?

I developed my questionnaires using CSPro 8.0, and I am now using CSPro 8.1. I have used six local languages for the CAPI text. However, in CSPro 8.1, the CAPI text automatically changes from the local languages to English.

Has anyone experienced this issue? What is the solution, and how can I prevent CSPro 8.1 from automatically changing the CAPI language to English?

I would appreciate any suggestions or solutions.

Thank you.

What do you mean when you say that the question text automatically changes to English? The expected behavior is:

1) CSPro looks at your device's current language setting and, if that language is defined in your application, it uses that language.

2) Otherwise, it defaults to the first language defined in your application.

This behavior did not change from 8.0 to 8.1, but there were a lot of changes to question text to support Markdown, so it is possible that something accidentally changed.

If you share your application here, or send it to cspro@lists.census.gov, we can look at it.

Value set function request

Dear Team,

I have two dictionaries, and I am using one of them as an external lookup dictionary to create a value set from its values.

I have written some Value Set functions to retrieve the values from the external dictionary, but the code is not working as expected.

Could you please help me identify the problem and provide guidance on how to correctly create the Value Set from the external lookup dictionary?

I can share the two dictionaries and the code I have written for further clarification.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Habtamu
