Hi CSPro Users,

I get an error when downloading data from an FTP Server, I have a Survey called Marine Vessels Census, which I developed a CSPro data capture application which sync to an FTP Server. Data are Synced successful, but when I download it gives the following error:

I checked in the log file and I saw the last lines tells me this:

I need help because I need to download files for data cleaning...

Thanks in advanced

What version of CSPro are you using to download the data on Windows? And then, assuming that you are collecting data on Android, what version of CSEntry is on the tablets?

My guess is that the tablets auto-updated to CSEntry 8.1 and that you are using CSPro 8.0 on Windows. The format for the synchronization files changed from 8.0 to 8.1, so you will need to use CSPro 8.1 to download the data.

Thanks Gregory,

Actually the reason could be cspro version in tablets and in windows. But also among tablets im not sure if all have one version, some have 8.0.1 other have 8.0.0, im not sure with 8.1.0, 8.1.1.

So Gregory can this be the main reason for that error?

Because since I started using version 8.0.0 there has been mixing of versions among the tables.

There was not a change in the synchronization file format from 7.7 to 8.0, so a mix of those tablets would not be a problem, but a mix of 8.0 and 8.1 could be. The reason that I think this is your issue is that your sync log says that the error is "PK???". "PK" are the first two characters of a .zip file, which is version 8.1 stores the cases in a Dropbox/FTP synchronization.

Try using the latest version, 8.1.3: https://csprousers.org/releases/

If this does not work, let us know.
