Hi everyone,
Can anyone help me with this scenario?
Scenario:
I have a .csdb file with 6 records. I exported it into multiple files as separate records (.dat files).
Now, I have 6 .dat files and 6 .dcf files. I want to revert them back into a .csdb file. How can I do this?
Thanks!

Re: Revert Back to CSDB
Hello,
You should not have 6 .dcf files. The same dictionary should describe all cases that came from this .csdb file. If there are differences between these .dcf files, you will need to standardize them so that you can return to 1 .dcf file. You should still be able to use the same .dcf file of your original .csdb.
Look to the Concatenate Data tool, specifically Concatenate Cases. This will allow you to create 1 file with all cases concatenated. You can easily convert between .dat and .csdb if needed by opening a file in the Data Viewer tool and going to "Save As".
Hope this helps,
Justin
