Dear Sir,
Entry Message (E 2001)
file cannot be open c:\file name.dat
This error coming on a Windows 10 based tablet while opening the data file. please help.

Are you running Windows Universal or desktop version of CSEntry? Also, is the error occurring at application start up or are you opening a lookup file?

Sir we are using Windows 10 Home on HP x2 210 g tablet PC. We are using CSPro 6.3 and this error comes when lookup for a data file.

Try putting the data file in a different folder. When you use a lookup file, CSPro has to create an index file in that same directory, and it's possible that access to your C:\ root folder requires administrative privileges, resulting in an error.
