Synchronization between tablet PC and CSweb

Hi Everyone,
I have a little issue when trying to sync data to the CSPro Web Server. I have successfully set up a local server on my laptop and manage to establish connectivity between the laptop and the tablet. The problem is when I try to synchronize data using the FTP server option existing on the csentry tablet application, I receive the following error msg “Unable to reach server http://localhost/csweb/api. Check that you are connected to the network and that the server URI is correct”. But I can open the CSweb dashboard (http://localhost/csweb/ui/dashboard/) using the browser installed on my tablet and successful login using the same credentials. Any idea on how to resolve this issue?
Thanks.
Charles

Are you using FTP or CSWeb? It seems like maybe you are mixing the two. The URL (http://localhost/csweb/api) is for CSWeb but your message talks about FTP.

It seems I am confusing these two, but there are two option when creating a new synchronization setting on a tablet PC (FTP server or my device). I am referring the FTP server option existing on my tablet but I have set up a CSweb on my machine and wish to synchronize data from the tablet to this server.

In CSPro 7, you should no longer choose the synchronization method on the device. Instead, choose it it in the synchronization options dialog in CSPro designer on your PC when creating your data entry application. Then, on the device, from the case listing screen you choose synchronize.

See "Synchronization options" in the help for more details: http://www.csprousers.org/help/CSPro/sy ... imple.html
