Comparing Data

Post by Anysia »

I have two data file using same dictionary, I am challenged with an issue that i wish this forum can assist me.
My Id items have the following fields
DEO ID
Cluster No
Household No

Two different DEO's keyed same cluster and Households, My challenge is anytime i compared the data i have case missing.
My investigation shows that if i change the DEO ID it works.I can compare the two same files. I need the DEO ID in my dataset.
The Data set is in thousands of cases it going to be a hell of a task to change all cases DEO ID to be same.
How do i resolve this challenge for easy comparison.

One way is create a batch application that generates another data file from the existing data with Cluster and HH Number as ID variable.
