The PEN is used to publish .ent (data entry) programs, and it is very good to protect your code, avoiding to disclosure your programs.
Is there a way to do the same thing with a .bch file, let´s say, to generate an "executable" or "assembled" version of your program?
Publish batch programs
Re: Publish batch programs
No, pen files are for data entry programs only.
Re: Publish batch programs
Can we ask or suggest a new feature to compile and generate an executable "exe" file, and use this file without having to send the .apc, .bch, etc.?
Is it feasible?
The reason I´m asking for that is that we have some cspro programming in the hands of people other than the ones involved in the development, and we would like to protect our code. It is not just a question of copyright, but if the end user has access to the cspro programming, s/he can try to "improve" it, and we loose control over the system.

Generating an exe file would a be a pretty massive task. Will note the request to allow PEN files for batch applications for a future release.
