Excel to CSPro

Post by atr »

Hi guys,

Am trying to convert from Excel to CSPro using version 7.

First question:
I have a person file in Excel from Census, about 100,000 person record and managed to convert the file. It worked perfectly when I convert to CSPro DB format.
My problem is when I want to convert the same file as .dat file, it only converts the number of cases... (18,000 cases), not the individual persons.

Second question:

I have 2 excel files of Person and Household record. After conversion to CSPro, How can we combine both Person and Household data into one dataset using one dictionary.

Would be grateful for any assistance on this.

Thanks,

For the second question, put the two Excel files into a single file with two worksheets: one for person and one for household. Then CSPro2Excel can convert both records in the same file.
