how many cases can be synchronized to csweb

Postby lusia » May 6th, 2018, 11:03 pm

Dear CSPro Team,
I need a confirmation and help.
How many cases that I can synchronize to csweb?
I've synchronized 49 cases. And the cases after that, can't be added to csweb. There's no error notification.

Kindly please help me.
Thank you in advance.

Warm Regards,
lusia

There is no limit to the number of the cases that can be synced to CSWeb. Please check the log file to see what the results of the sync are.

Here I attach the log file. I don't really understand about the log file.

Sorry, I should have specified the sync.log file. On Android you will find it in the csentry directory. On Windows it will be in the folder C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\CSPro.

Here is my sync.log from My AppData. I use Windows to synchronize.
There are no ignored cases or conflicts.
When I compare the cases one by one, between the original .csdb and the uploaded one, some of the cases are still not uploaded.
For example, I have 3 cases, case A, B and C.
Case A and C are successfully uploaded to csweb but case B isn't uploaded.
Is there something that I missed?

I don't see anything that looks wrong in the log file. Is it possible that you reset the server (deleted and recreated the database) after a doing a few synchronizations? When you do that, sometimes the cases that were synced before you did the reset don't get synced again since they were already sent the first time.

If that isn't the case please send the original csdb file to cspro@lists.census.gov and let us know which cases are not in the uploaded file.

Before I used the csweb database for the survey, I have created a dummy database (that I used for testing purposes).
I used the same dictionary for dummy and the one I used for the survey.
Then, I deleted those dummy database.
After that, I added new dictionary to save the survey data from the same dictionary.
Does this possibly cause some of the cases are not uploaded to the csweb database?

Okay, I'll send you the original csdb.

Thank you in advance.
