Copy and paste valuesets..

Post by Anne »

I think I remember a feature I just loved which doesn't seem to work anymore: Being able to copy and paste valuesets from one dictionary item to another..

Earlier when you pasted valuesets, the value set label changed according to the label of the dictionary item you pasted to, hence you could enter the "yes - 1, no - 2" valueset once, and copy and paste to all the other yes/no fields..

But now I have to edit the valueset label manually.. Or is it just me misunderstanding something?

Hmm.. seems I found out by myself:
If you copy one line down from the value set label, it seems to work..

Has it always been like this?

Nothing has changed (intentionally) regarding this. If you:

- Copy with the value set name selected, it copies the whole value set to the clipboard.
- Copy with one or several values selected, it copies just those values to the clipboard.

In either case, when you paste to a different item, it will create a value set name and label based on that item's name and label.
