dictionary tree color of dropped vs. undropped subitems

Post by sherrell »

hi all,

i can't remember if it's always been this way, but note on the attached image the following:

- parents of subitems display as blue whether dropped or undropped

Q: shouldn't parents go grey if dropped? (a literal, not rhetorical Q for all you parents out there :) )

- subitems of undropped items display as a darker grey than their dropped equivalent

Q: why aren't they blue like their parent if they haven't been dropped yet?

- subitems of dropped items display as pale grey

When the screen resolution was larger in older versions of CSPro it was easier to see these shade distinctions. However now it is virtually impossible. Hoping undropped items can be made blue like parents...

thnx! smg

I don't think the subitem coloring has changed in years. Not since I first used in CSPro in version 2 anyway. The parent of a dropped subitem is blue because it hasn't been dropped even if the subitems have. If a subitem is dropped it is colored grey, otherwise it is green. Subitem color does not change if its parent is dropped.

hey Josh,

ok on when color changes, but def. the color distinction is warranted (imho :) given how small the icons are nowadays

thnx, sherrell
