CSPro DB - notes

Post by leulae »

Dear all,

While notes for CSPro DB files are stored within the file itself, how do I make one text file with all notes.

Thank you all

Hi Leulae,
Notes are stored in the notes table in Csdb, who's a sqlite family file, so do in column in the Csweb's MySQL. So, if you can access to this database using credentials: user and password for MySQL or sqlite browser for Csdb, you'll see all notes (case and field) and you can export them to Excel, Csv, txt etc.

While you could try to extract the data using sqlite, we do not recommend doing that as the file format could change in future versions of CSPro. Instead, take a look at this post on how to export the notes by first converting the csdb file to text: http://www.csprousers.org/forum/viewtop ... 098&p=6876
