Re: Sync in drop box

Make sure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer on the computer you are using. The login dialog box for Dropbox uses Internet Explorer and Dropbox only supports newer version. At this time I thin you need at least Internet Explorer 11.

Re: Problem exporting data into .csv

Certainly try tab delimited first. If that doesn't work then you can send your export specification file, data dictionary and any data files that don't work to us at cspro@lists.census.gov

Re: Problem exporting data into .csv

Exporting semicolon delimited is fine. The only disadvantage is as you found out that you have to import into excel rather than just opening the file. When you have commas in your data then semicolon or tab delimited will work better. The data viewer only lets you view data. You cannot edit data in ...

Re: Value set name and value label from External file (Excel)

You can do this using a lookup file. Use the Excel2CSpro tool to generate a dictionary and data file from your spreadsheet. Then you can use loadcase to lookup the subprefectures for the chosen department and make a value set from them using the version of setvalueset that takes an array of codes an...

Re: Create a data file name with login ID

Unfortunately this is not simple to do in CSPro. You will need to write a menu program that collects the login ID, uses the filewrite function to write out he a pff file with the data filename and then uses execpff to launch the pff to start data entry using that filename. If you search this forum f...

Re: dictionary tree color of dropped vs. undropped subitems

I don't think the subitem coloring has changed in years. Not since I first used in CSPro in version 2 anyway. The parent of a dropped subitem is blue because it hasn't been dropped even if the subitems have. If a subitem is dropped it is colored grey, otherwise it is green. Subitem color does not ch...

Re: variable length do not agree with dictionary id

The problem is exactly as the error message says. The total length of the id-variables in the LMIS_ASSIGNMENT_DICT is 45: municipal (2) + barangay (3) + ea (3) + staff code (36) + role (1). The length of the variable ASSIGNMENT_SELECTION that you are passing to loadcase is 44. The two lengths must b...
