Re: count records in a roster in a data entry

That does seem to be a bug with count. We will look into it. Fortunately you have a workaround by using the loop. Just stick with that for now.

The syntax error on line 103 is because you are trying to delete the form rather than the roster row. Try using

Code: Select all

delete(B_MORADORES000(i));
instead.

Re: occurs item inside a multiple occurring record

Try making the parent item E18_VIAGENS type alpha. CSPro often runs into problems with numeric items that have subitems. When the subitems are blank it messes up the item.

Re: Skipped items to special values

There is no global post_proc function, only the global on_focus. I don't see how on_focus would help you with this. Trying to do this in your data entry application is going to be problematic. What happens if you go back and change an earlier value and the item is no longer skipped but is now set to...

Re: Changing value-set after Selecting one option from the column of a roster

You can the function setvalueset to change the value set in your application logic. This technique is often called dynamic value set. See chapter 5 of this document for an explanation of dynamic value sets: http://www.csprousers.org/resources/CSProMobileWorkshop.pdf You can find an example of using ...

Re: Export data from CSpro 7 to STATA

Export data should create a separate .dct and .do file for each record that is exported. The files will have the same name as the record so if your dictionary has two records POPULATION and MIGRATION you will get POPULATION.dct, POPULATION.do, MIGRATION.dct and MIGRATION.do. Please verify that these...

Re: occurs item inside a multiple occurring record

If you have a numeric parent item you can run into problems with subitems if blanks or non-numeric characters are introduced into the parent item. Make sure the parent item is alpha.

If that isn't the problem please send us a test app so we can reproduce.
