Re: dictionary tree color of dropped vs. undropped subitems

I don't think the subitem coloring has changed in years. Not since I first used in CSPro in version 2 anyway. The parent of a dropped subitem is blue because it hasn't been dropped even if the subitems have. If a subitem is dropped it is colored grey, otherwise it is green. Subitem color does not ch...

Re: variable length do not agree with dictionary id

The problem is exactly as the error message says. The total length of the id-variables in the LMIS_ASSIGNMENT_DICT is 45: municipal (2) + barangay (3) + ea (3) + staff code (36) + role (1). The length of the variable ASSIGNMENT_SELECTION that you are passing to loadcase is 44. The two lengths must b...

Re: dictionary with an item group

Thanks for supplying a simple test application. I am able to reproduce the issue easily. It definitely seems like a bug in CSPro.We will look into it although it may take a bit longer than usual as most of my colleagues are out of this office this week.

Re: Problem exporting data into .csv

Make sure you are picking Comma delimited (.csv) under export format and not tab or semicolon delimited.

If that doesn't work we would need your dictionary, a sample data file and your export specification. You can post it here or email to cspro@lists.census.gov.

Re: dictionary with record length that does agree with the variables

I know I should not edit a data dictionary in an editor I think you have your answer. We have bigger tasks to deal with than handle dictionaries edited outside CSPro. Is there something missing in the dictionary editor that caused you to use a text editor? We would rather improve the dictionary edi...

Re: dictionary with an item group

What do you mean by an item-group? A roster on the form?

Re: Invalid function call (number of arguments do not agree) using user-defined function

The problem is just what the error message says. Your function LookupGeographyName expects three arguments: province, municipal and barangay. However when you call the function you are only supplying two arguments: province and notappl. The number of arguments needs to match.

Re: Error Message: "CsPro Application has stopped working"

This a general error that could be caused any number of things but is most likely a bug in CSPro. If you are able to reproduce the error in your application please send us the application and detailed steps of how to reproduce it. If possible send us a data file with a partially saved case that take...
