Yes, it affects the Android app too. However, unless you have explicitly disabled automatic updates on your Android device, you should already have 7.1.3. You can check from the about page.

There was an issue with that it one of the early 7.1 release but it should be fixed in version 7.1.3. Are you using an earlier version?

You can use the command endlevel to do this. You could use "ask if" or skip without a target in the preproc of the last question.

We don't have direct support for barcode scanning in CSPro. On Windows, many handheld barcode scanners work as if they are keyboards. As long as the length of the variable stays the same then changing the data type of a variable will not mess up any of the other variables and changing a variable from numeric to alpha should not cause any issues.

That is strange. You should have the api.log file. Check that the user account that Apache runs under has permission to write to the csweb/logs directory. Check the PHP/Apache error log to see if there are any errors. The location of this file depends on how your server is configured. Check the documentation for your setup.

Also check the CSWeb api log file which you can find in csweb/logs/api.log.

You could implement this using dynamic value sets with the setvalueset function.

Search for "ranking" on the forum. You will find examples very similar to what you are trying to do. search.php?keywords=ranking
