Re: DECLARE LIST OF STRING VARIABLES

The whole point of string variables is you do not need to specify the length. The system makes them as long you need them to be based on what values you assign to them. So you don't need to specify the length at all.

Re: How to recover dictionary File

I don't see how using a different data file could modify your dictionary file. I'm guessing there is something else going on like that you copied some of the application files to a new folder but didn't copy the dictionary.

Re: Time Difference

The timestamp() function gives you the time at the moment that you call it so you want to call it once to get the start time at the beginning of the form and then call it again at the very end of the form. That will give the start and end times. Then you can subtract the start from the end to get th...

Re: DECLARE LIST OF STRING VARIABLES

Just put each one a separate line: array string myString( 100 ); array string myString2( 100 ); array string myString3( 100 ); Note that a string is variable length so it can have as many characters as you want. So array string myString(100) is an array of 100 strings not a s...

Re: Time Difference

Look at the example in the help for timestamp: http://www.csprousers.org/help/CSPro/ti ... ction.html

Put that logic in the preproc of the questionnaire. SURVEY_DURATION will be the time in seconds.

Re: GPS STORAGE IN ENTRY, MODIFY AND VERIFY MODES

I think you need to spell out EXACTLY what you want to happen in all the different scenarios: first time when GPS has not yet been taken, when GPS fails and they go back again, when GPS succeeds and they go back again... I don't understand the behavior that you require. One way to handle the GPS is ...

Re: DEPRECATION WARNING

Do not use variables of type alpha. So instead of:

alpha(10) myvariable;

use

string myvariable;

With string you do not need to worry about the length. It will grow to be as big as it needs to be to handle whatever value you assign to it.

Re: GIS Boundary on the Google Earth

The algorithm from the second link you posted (stackoverflow) could be ported to CSPro logic. It is just basic math. It should be fairly accurate for small areas like the area assigned to an enumerator although since it doesn't take into account the curvature of the earth it wouldn't work for very l...
