Re: Exporting notes from .csdb file to Stata/SPSS

What you will have to do is: 1) Convert the CSPro DB file to a text file. See more here: http://www.csprousers.org/help/DataViewer/converting_data_files_to_other_formats.html After doing this, you'll have a .csnot file. 2) Create a dictionary to describe that notes file. You can do it simply using t...

Re: Open a text file with notepad on android

You can run batch applications (on Windows). I've used this code to run a batch application: execsystem ( maketext ( ' "%sCreate Deployment.bat "' , pathname (Application)),wait); I would look into whether your DOS batch file is written properly. If you doub...

Re: tabulation between records

You can do this by creating a new variable in your working storage dictionary and then using table logic to fill that variable in with the sum of the individual incomes. See more here:

Re: POVERTY LEVEL CALCULATION CSPro &

You'll have to give us more information about what you're trying to do. Perhaps upload your dictionary and tell us what variables you're trying to tabulate.

Re: Filter variables in data view

We will keep these in mind, though they won't come in 7.1, as we're nearing the end of development for this release.

It sounds like a lot of what you want could be accomplished in the Tabulate Frequencies tool (at least for #4).

This will be in the CSPro 7.1 release. We implemented it yesterday and you can test it in the next beta.

Re: How to prevent the first record from being changed

It's possible, but isn't easy. It requires adding a control field before P1. In your scenario, that control field would initially skip to P3. Then, after P5, you would reenter the control field, and in the onfocus event of that field, you would start entering P1. It's not simple to do, so unless you...

Re: The new tr function

Right now that isn't possible. The idea is that all of your translations would be in a single message file.

In the future we may introduce a tool that would allow you to easily modify the multiple language components of CSPro (the dictionary, question text, and now the messages).

Re: getocclabel Bug

There was one getocclabel bug that was introduced in 7.0 (I believe regarding subitems). Try using the 7.1 beta and see if it happens in that version:
