Re: stop interview and go to question "Result of interviw"

OnKey does not get executed on Android, as the concept of a keystroke is not as well defined on a tablet.

You can instead add a userbar function that the user can click on to move to Q10A.

Re: Randomizing the Order of Questions

I think that you'll have problems with this in system controlled mode. CSPro does not make this task easy. One other option, assuming that the response options for your questions are the same, is to have a repeating item in the dictionary that you will use to ask several questions. Then, you could m...

Re: Encountered an improper argument

This is a generic error message and the cause of it can be many things. I encourage you to upgrade to CSPro 7.0 to see if the problem persists with this new version. If so, please describe in more detail exact what you are doing when the error occurs.

Re: Viewing GPS data (Lat, Long) on Google Map

That may come in a future release. In the meantime, what some people have done is write out a KML file with this information. Then, using execsystem to open it, you can view it in Google Earth. You can use the filewrite function to write out a KML file.

Re: Data Entry App on Samsung Tablet

It's hard to know what the problem might be, but one suggestion is to make sure that the ../Menu/CMPictures directory exists on the Samsung tablet. One guess would be that the camera application on other devices automatically creates that directory, whereas the Samsung tablet might not. This may not...

Re: CAPI Android Print Form

I'm surprised that the ExportXMLMetadata tool doesn't work. Can you send your .dcf/.qsf files to cspro@lists.census.gov? We can see why it is not working.

Other than that, the only way to accomplish your task is to write a custom tool yourself to do this.

Re: CAPI Android Print Form

The only thing that you can do with CSPro is to use an undocumented tool with the following steps: 1) Run the ExportXMLMetadata tool, likely located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\CSPro 7.0\ExportXMLMetadata.exe 2) Select HTML. 3) Select your dictionary (extension .dcf). 4) Select your question text (...

Re: Linking setvaluesets to images

It is what you would expect. For example: vsCodes( 1 ) = 1 ; vsLabels( 1 ) = "Milk" ; vsImages( 1 ) = "milk.jpg" ; vsCodes( 2 ) = 2 ; vsLabels( 2 ) = "Soda" ; vsImages( 2 ) = "soda.jpg" ; vsCodes( 3 ) = n...

Re: Ranking based on Previous question

CSPro does not directly support ranked questions, so you may have to ask C2 in multiple questions. C2_1 would display all options checked in C1. C2_2 would display all options checked in C1 with the exception of the C2_1. And so on.

Re: CSEntry difference for Windows version and Android app

The underlying CSPro "engine" is the same on Windows and Android, so there should not be differences. It may be a bug. Send your application to cspro@lists.census.gov with an example of where it is skipping on Android but not on Windows and we will fix it.
