Re: dateadd function

The dateadd function only works with YYYYMMDD format. If your date is in DDMMYYYY format you will have to convert it to YYYYMMDD . There are a few ways to do that. You can use division and modulus to extract the year, month and day from the date and then rebuild the date in the format you want. For ...

Re: ftp - deploy application

Yes. The username and password are probably cached on your computer. You can remove them using the Windows Credential Manager. You can open it from the Windows Control Panel or by typing "credential manager" in the Windows search box. Once in Credential Manager click on the "Windows C...

Re: Probleme in exporting data

That error just means that the CSPro TextViewer is unable to read the file that was generated for Stata. It is not an error with the export itself. You should still be able to import the data to Stata. The fact that the file is too wide could happen because you are putting the all the records occurr...

Re: duplicate keys in syncdata

In that situation I believe you will end up with duplicate cases. Whether or not cases are duplicated or overwritten in this scenario depends on which devices the cases are created on. When one case is created on enumerator A's tablet and another case is created on the enumerator B's tablet then tho...

Re: Syn data Error 100101

Can you send me your dictionary? You can email it to cspro@lists.census.gov or attach it to a private message on this forum if you don't want to share it publicly.

Re: Syn data Error 100101

Ok. So the dictionary name does not have *** in it. Your logic looks fine. The problem could be that the dictionary on the server doesn't match what you have in the application. Try deleting the dictionary on the server from the CSWeb interface in the browser and then uploading your dictionary again...

Re: Syn data Error 100101

That is strange. I thought you put the ** because you didn't want to share the name of the dictionary. A dictionary should not have a name with *** in it. When you open the dictionary in CSPro designer what is the name? Not the name of the file but the name of the dictionary that will usually end wi...

Re: Syn data Error 100101

When you deploy to CSWeb make sure to check the box next to the name of your dictionary to make sure it is uploaded along with the application.

You can verify that the dictionary has been uploaded by logging into the csweb interface on the server and looking at the list of dictionaries.
